TRAINERS early stage researchers and some local students were given the opportunity for some very valuable training on how to manage projects by a one day course on May 17th at the National University of Ireland, Galway. The course provided a practical, hands-on approach to project management planning and implementation and was designed to develop new skills and illustrate practical techniques that can be applied to improve performance and delivery. At the end of this course students were in a better positioned to plan, develop, review, evaluate, realign, troubleshoot and monitor their PhD projects.
