Current position and address: PhD student in Prof Afshin Samali’s lab at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Summary of education:
I did Master of pharmacy with specialization in computational chemistry and computer aided (in-silico) drug designing at Nirma University, India.
Why are you doing a PhD:
My primary research interest lies in the field of chemical biology. I would like to develop an in-depth understanding of this field. I want to work on both technology and application oriented research by rational integration of experiments to computations.
A combination of inter-disciplinary academic environment with freedom of thought and expert guidance inspires me to pursue a PhD at NUI.
What are your interests outside the lab?
I like cooking, travelling, playing cricket, listening to music and watching movies.
